1ne Th000sand Canvas's: Rules and Regulations

bS Shirts has finally joined the blog community. For those that don't know us, hello. We started selling "one-a-kind" shirts four years ago on a street corner in NYC (Soho). Today we have a gallery slash clothing store in Phila (Old City). Everything is going well, thanks for asking. Anyway we've got this project we're chewing on now and we want to keep you guys up to date on our progress. We got this crazy Idea to make a thousand canvases in 3 months. This gives us a little over a hundred days to do 1000 "one-a-kind" canvases. If you do the math thats almost 10 canvases a day (We love a challenge). "Why would we do such a thing?," you ask. To make ourselves better artist, is the simple answer.
Theirs alot of information I need to give you guys about this project and believe it or not the easiest way to organize it is to use a loose version of the scientific method (Yes, the one from highschool). Wait, dont run away yet!
The Question we will ask is can we make a thousand unique canvases (style, medium, subject etc.)? We pride ourselves on being adjustable graphic designers and the job of any good graphic designer is to provide a broad range of ideas. The goal will be not to have a specific style but be able to convey the ideas of many styles. Think about it like a good music producer that does all genres of music. The two constants are all canvases are 5 x 7 and no silk-screening (that would be too easy.)
Our hypothesis: By doing this exercise it will take us on a new exciting adventure as artist and it will provide more exposure to the "bS world." Along with, eventually getting more ideas into the collective consciousness thus making the world better. (this is the part where Micheal Jackson music plays in the background, the world holds hands, everyone gets green collar jobs and a young child sheds a tear of joy. Chris and myself walk off into the desert sunset and disappear at the horizon line.) Camera zooms out, goes out of focus on sun, fade to black credits roll "and scene."
